Germany - June and July 2013

Another trip to enable John to get to the Friedrichshafen amateur radio gathering. These trips make a great holiday, travelling through lovely Germany and enjoying the little country hotels with their great food and drink. This time we also met up with old friends of Marwyn's, travelling down through the south of Germany, then back via the old east.

Approaching IJmuiden on the DFDS ferry from Newcastle.

We drank some very nice German wines. Very nice indeed! This was near Bayreuth.

We like Noordwijk aan Zee as a last stop before the ferry. It was a bit chilly for swimming though!

Another great holiday in Germany. I think we saw one other British car whilst there. Let's keep this a secret - maybe I shouldn't say what a great place it is on the web!
